History of Grace Reformed Church Miwani

Grace Reformed Church Miwani was established in 2019 through the grace and providence of God. 

Pastor Lameck Ochieng Ogembo founded the church with a desire to see the gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully proclaimed and the truths of the Reformed faith taught in Miwani and the surrounding communities.

The church began humbly in Pastor Lameck's home with only three members gathering for prayer, worship, fellowship, and the study of God's Word. Though the beginning was small, the Lord blessed the ministry and provided opportunities for growth and outreach.

From its inception, Grace Reformed Church has been committed to the faithful preaching of Scripture, sound biblical doctrine, discipleship, and evangelism. The church seeks to glorify God by proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ and helping believers grow in their knowledge and love of God.

One of the significant milestones in the church's history was the purchase of land for the future development of a permanent place of worship. This achievement marked an important step forward in establishing a lasting ministry presence in the community and creating a place where future generations can gather to worship God.

Grace Reformed Church has also developed a strong commitment to evangelistic outreach. The church conducts monthly outreach ministries to share the gospel with individuals and families throughout the region. Through these efforts, the congregation seeks to fulfill Christ's Great Commission by making disciples and extending the Kingdom of God.

Another important aspect of the church's ministry is its annual conference, which brings together believers for biblical teaching, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. These conferences have become a valuable means of strengthening both church members and visitors in the Christian faith.

Today, Grace Reformed Church Miwani continues to grow under the leadership of Pastor Lameck Ochieng Ogembo. The church remains dedicated to the authority of Scripture, the proclamation of the gospel, and the historic doctrines of the Reformed faith. By God's grace, the congregation looks forward to continued growth, the completion of its church building project, and the expansion of gospel ministry throughout Kenya and beyond.
