Pastor Lameck Ochieng is the founding pastor of Grace Reformed Church in Miwani, Kenya. He is passionate about faithfully preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and planting biblically grounded churches. Since helping establish Grace Reformed Church in 2019, he has been committed to teaching Reformed theology, shepherding God’s people, and reaching his community with the message of God’s grace.

Pastor Lameck embraces the doctrines summarized in the Westminster Standards and the Three Forms of Unity. His ministry focuses on expository preaching, pastoral care, evangelism, and equipping believers to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ.

He is married to Mary Adhiambo, and together they are blessed with Five children and one of whom has passed into glory. As a husband, father, and pastor, he seeks to glorify God by serving his family, church, and community with faithfulness and humility.

Pastor Lameck is grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness in the growth of Grace Reformed Church and continues to pray for the advancement of Christ’s kingdom throughout Kenya and Africa.

Elder David Olang joined Grace Reformed Church, Miwani, in 2025. As an elder he has really helped the Church in spiritual shepherdship, governance, and administrative functions. 

The Biblical Baseline: In the New Testament (specifically in passages like 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9), the emphasis is placed heavily on an elder's character, and David has really shown exemplary character in the ministry and service

They are expected to be leaders who are respectable, hospitable, self-controlled, and deeply committed to their faith.

Children's Ministry

I have the wonderful privilege of serving as a Sunday School teacher here at Grace Reformed Church, Miwani. By profession, I am a schoolteacher, which means my days are completely filled with doing what I love most: helping children grow and learn. I have a deep love for God, and my absolute favorite part of serving is seeing the joy, curiosity, and bright smiles on children's faces as they discover just how much God loves them.When I am not in the classroom or at church, you can usually find me reading a good book or spending time with my family. I look forward to welcoming your family this Sunday!
